107th Birth anniversary of Legend personal Biju Patnaik observed at various places

Gopalpur NAC: A brave and revolutionary leader Biju Patnaik 107th birth anniversary has been celebrated by BJD in Gopalpur NAC. The event presided over by A. Janki Ram Chairman NAC while Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Gopbandhu Das attended as the Chief Guest and offered floral tribute to Biju Babu’s statue near the post office. After that the party workers went around the city in a bicycle procession. Many BJD workers were present in the program.

Brahmapur BJD: 107th birth anniversary of Biju Patnaik, the uncrowned emperor of Odisha celebrated by BJD. Worshiping at the temple of MAA BUDHI THAKURANI on Sunday morning and offering floral tribute to the Biju Babu statue in Desibehera Sahi and Biju Patnaik Park at Aska Road. On behalf of team fruits were distributed to patients in city hospitals. All youth, students and women workers of BJD were present in the program. In the afternoon a bicycle procession was held from Balunkeshwar temple to Gajapati city. In the evening, a public meeting was held at Ganapati Nagar near the residence of MLA Bikram Panda. MP, MLA and other guests spoke about Biju Babu’s contribution to Odisha and his son Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s services to the people of Odisha. District BJD President Ramesh Chandra Chyau Patnaik, Berhampur MP Chandrasekhar Sahu, MLA Bikram Kumar Panda, BeMC Mayor Sanghmitra Dalei, Deputy Mayor E.Vivek Reddy, Cashew Corporation Chairman Subash Maharana, Urban Bank President Murali Mohan, BeMC Youth President Ajit Kumar Panda, Student Zone President Jytiranjan Sahu, Spokesperson Tumbnath Panda, Mahanagar President Vijay Samal and many other party workers were present.

Brahmapur ITI: On the occasion of the 107th birth anniversary of legendary man Biju Patnaik, a statue of Biju Babu made of scrap metal was unveiled by the students of Brahmapur ITI. Labor Minister Shrikant Sahu attended as chief guest and encouraged ITI students. Chief Minister’s political secretary Dr.Gopbandhu Das attended as guest of honour said that the construction of a statue in scrap metal iron has created a unique example in the whole world with the technical knowledge of IIT students. Among others, Ramesh Chandra Chyau Patnaik, State Cashew Development Corporation Chairman Subash Chandra Maharana and other dignitaries were present.
