Sonepur, (Pawan Agrawal ) : The 16th District Level Junior Red Cross Study- Cum -Training Camp of Subarnapur has just been concluded at Govt. Girls’ High School, Sonepur. Inaugurating the Camp the Chief Guest ADMO(PH) Dr. Ramesh Swain urged the assembly of Students to extend social service for the cause of Humanity. Attending as the Chief Speaker Sj. Dharma Singh Mishra, Ex-State JRCO, IRCS, Odisha State Branch, Bhubneswar unfurled the Red Cross Flag and injected the skill of volunteerism into the minds of juniors and Counsellors for Social Engineering and proper implement Junior Red Cross Activities at School, District and State Level. Presiding over the Inaugural Ceremony the District Education Officer (DEO), Sonepur urged all the students, Counsellors and RPs to initiate required actions to uphold vibes of Humanity at School, Block, District and State JRC Odisa . The Programme was hosted by Smt. Manjulata Bhoi ADEO(Establishment), Sonepur and managed by Dr. Radhakanta Gartia ,ADEO(Academic)-cum-Dist. JRC Secretary, Sonepur supported by Sj.Rabi Chandra Pasayat, Junior Red Cross Officer(JRCO), Sonepur and Sj. Gatikrishna Mishram Vice-Chairman, JRC, Sonepur respectively. The yearly JRC Magazine named, “UTSARGA” was unveiled by the panel of Guests headed by Sj. Laxman Bhoi, DEO, Sonepur who acted as the Chief Gust in the Valedictory Session. The meritorious juniors were distributed with prizes and mementos. The Juniors and Counsellors displayed colourful Dances and Activities in the Valediction. A team of Resource Persons and Headmasters ,namely, Jhsasketan Meher, Chandramani Bagh, Chandra Shekhar Mahapatra, Hrushikesh Dang, Gopesh Panda,Tapaswini Dash, Sasmita Sahu, Hementra Mehere, Hrushikesh Chanda, Ssangeeta Padhan, Monalisa Paramanik,Ghanashyam Meher, Rajendra Mishras, Shridhara Bagh, Kalia Karmi, Mnjulata Bhi, Nalini Kumbhar, respectively initiated coordinated effort to make this camp a grand success. The Counsellor Pragyana Parimita Mishras gave the welcome speech and Soudamini Saatapathy, Senior TGT, GGHS, Sonepu passed vote of thanks. The Competitions, Formal Clases, Programmes on Social Themes, Cultural Evening conducted with organized and colourful manner reloaded with fun, merriment and gaiety at Camp.
