Dulanga, May 30: NML Dulanga successfully concluded its fortnight-long Swachhata Pakhwada with a special felicitation ceremony honouring Safai Mitras and Horticulture personnel for their dedicated efforts in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and greenery across the project premises.
As part of the concluding programme, mementos were presented to the frontline workforce in recognition of their invaluable contribution towards creating a clean, healthy, and environmentally sustainable workplace. The initiative was led by Shri Brij Raj Prasoon, Head of Project, NML Dulanga, who appreciated the commitment and hard work of the sanitation and horticulture teams.
The Swachhata Pakhwada witnessed a series of activities aimed at promoting cleanliness, environmental conservation, and sustainable living practices. The observance commenced with a Prabhat Pheri, spreading awareness on sanitation, hygiene, and public cleanliness. A Plantation Drive was also undertaken to strengthen green cover and encourage environmental stewardship among employees and stakeholders.
Employees actively participated in Shramdaan, carrying out voluntary cleanliness drives within the project area. Awareness campaigns were organized to discourage the use of single-use plastics and advocate eco-friendly alternatives, reinforcing the importance of responsible environmental practices.
Speaking on the occasion, project officials emphasized that cleanliness and environmental sustainability are collective responsibilities and acknowledged the significant role played by Safai Mitras and Horticulture personnel in maintaining a clean and green work environment.
The successful completion of Swachhata Pakhwada reflects NML Dulanga’s continued commitment to the principles of cleanliness, sustainability, environmental protection, and community responsibility, aligning with the broader objectives of the national Swachhata movement.
