Bureau Chief PKB: One of the most pious and religious teachers of Jeypore subdivision of Koraput District Kanchamala Sahu died on 26th of August around 11pm at her residence. Kanchamala was an honest and dedicated teacher of the locality. She died after suffering of a prolonged illness. During her demise, her two kids Anushree Sahoo and Aman Kumar Sahoo alongwith her husband Kishore Kumar Sahoo were present. It was reported that Kanchamala was a school teacher in a local school called st.xavier High school Jeypore. Her husband Kishore Kumar Sahoo is known to be serving as public relation officer at Vidwan Junior College Jeypore. After the news about her death spread, people across the town expressed deep condolences. A mourning of silence was conducted by the staffs and students of both the educational institutions. Expressing shock on her death, the Chairman of Vidwan Junior College Rasmiranjan Patnaik and Vice-Chairperson Anita Patnaik stated ” Kanchamala was a devoted and humble lady, She never hurt anybody” The Directors of St.Xavier School Satish Kumar Nanda, Tarun Kumar Mahapatra offered deep condolences while the Principal Monalisa Nanda described her as” A True Fighter against the odds of life”
The staff members of Vidwan Junior College Mr.Jagarnath , sr.lecturers Sisir Kumar Dash, Mahima Sahu, Jagarnath Babu and Mr.Dash were present in the funeral procession of Kanchamala.
It was a great personal loss and Praying God to shower his blessings of strength to the bereaved family to tide over this shock, as stated by Prasanta Kumar Bishoyi, the Bureau Chief NF Times.
