Jajpur, Pratap Prusty : There are countless programmes of both Central and State govt, being availed for the malnutrition child, pregnant and lactating mother. Poshan is one of the scheme under which nutritional foods are supplied to the children and women through the Anganwadi centre. Mocking to these Schemes, one irregularity has allegedly been come to the light in Ward No.4 of Kalamatia of Bari block of Jajpur, when decaying food (Chhatua/Sattu) are being supplied to the beneficiaries and this complaint has been brought forth by the beneficiaries themselves. The adulterated and decaying powder of cereals (Sattu/Chhatua) in which insects growth can be seen are supplied to the beneficiaries. It may lead to bad health consequences, allegation made by the local. The sources reveals, one Chanakhai SSG Group supplied this food mixer to the Anganwadi in which neither manufacturing nor expiry date is found. It is also allegedly spoken in public that the organisation supplying this low quality food is playing safe game under the lap of administration. The local alleges that the concerned Anganwadi worker Mrs Kaberi Mallick who is running this Anganwadi center wilfully is responsible for it. On seeking clarification in this regard, the supervisor of the concern Anganwadi center responses with- the inquiry is under going. In this respect, the CDPO has been tried to be reported while he/she couldn’t be contacted. People throw challenge for the media persons to bring the truth lies in it to the day light.
