Every year, September 16th is celebrated as World Ozone Day. The objective of celebrating Ozone day is to make people aware of the Environmental concerns. The theme for ‘World ozone day 2022’ is ‘Montreal Protocol@35: global cooperation protecting life on earth’. The theme not only encourages sustainable development but also recognises the wider impact of the Montreal Protocol.
Tree plantation activity was carried out by Envt. Mgmt. department at SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant to mark World ozone day at P.C.B. Plant on September 16, 2022. Shri Ashok Kumar, CGM(Projects), Shri G A Sorte, CGM (Utility), Shri G Y Sapkale, CGM (Projects), Shri D B Moitra, CGM (Envt. Mgmt.) and other Sr. officials were present on the occasion.
On the occasion of World Ozone Day, Poster making and Slogan writing competition for BSP Employees was organized by Environment Management Department.
