Bureau Head (PKB) : In an extraordinary and eye-catching manner, the excellent exhibition of performance mingled with art, dance and musical resonance orchestrated by the students of St. Xavier school at lingaraj nagar, jeypore in koraput during their Annual Day celebration took the audience by surprise. The dawn of the evening hours on Saturday witnessed the spectacular occasion of Annual Function of St. Xavier High School comprising of more than thousand of audience including five hundred plus students.
Presiding over the meeting, Mrs Monalisa Nanda, the principal of the school informed the audience about the promotion of qualitative education by the school through the dedicated services of the teacher. MLA Jeypore Sri. Taraprasad Barinipati joining the occasion as Chief Guest vividly stated addressing to the students ” Never do disrespect either to your parents or to your teachers ” He also advised the students to stay away from” Rahu, Ketu ” referring to the use of mobile. Siddhartha Patnaik, Executive Officer, Jeypore Municipality was present as an invited guest who inspired the students ” Set up your dream, utilize your time in the correct way to translate your project into success. Mr Narendra Mahanty, Chairman Jeypore municipality being another guest on the celebration advised the students ” Give equal amount of importance upon Odia, Hindi and English ” SDPO Jeypore Mr. Harish also joined as a guest highlighted the importance of sincerity, hardwork and perseverance. Sub-Collector, Mr. Bedabar Pradhan joining as a guest wished the students ” Best of luck in future endeavors ” The deputy collector Mr. Chita Ranjan Patnaik was also present on the occasion.
Mr Tarun Kumar Mahapatra and Mr. Satish Kumar Nanda, the duo directors of the st. Xavier high school being present on the dias directed the crew members for the successful accomplishment of the program. A battery of students were awarded different prizes for their participation in various competitions. The attractive cultural program was the event that kept the audience at their toes. The program was happily enjoyed by one and all present on the occasion.
