‘Mahabharat’ odia translator King Krishna Singh’s 295th birth anniversary celebrated

Ganjam : Odia translator Mahabharat and former King of Dharakote Krishna Singh’s 295th Birth anniversary has been celebrated in NAVEEN BHAWAN near UCP Engineering School under the chairmanship of the Senior Journalist RABI RATH while renowed poet and literate Krushna Chandra Tripathi attended as chief speaker. The speaker in his speech described that Krishna Singh’s was the uncommondable translator of Byashdev’s Sanskrit Mahabharat in Odia language. It is nevertheless to indicate that Krishna Singh’s the former King of Dharakote has dedicated all his luxurious life for literature and translator the Sanskrit Mahabharat in odia language which has been widely spread and liked by one and all. Such as Prof Dr Dambarudhar Sahu a part from this the other dignitaries Ganjam College Odia HOD Prof. Laxmi Narayan Panda, Prof. Santosh Kumar Das, Prof. Ramesh Chandra Tripathy, H.K Das, Prof Sagar Ranjan Tripathy attended as guest of honour and expressed their views on Krishna’s contribution to Odia literature. Similarly Poet Pramod Kumar Panda, the publisher of NAVEEN Magazine Manju Rath, Retired Manager Gangapani Sahu, Abanti Sahu, Susant Kumar Samal, Pabitra Kumar Choudhury, Social activist Ramakrishna Patro, Bijay Kumar Padhy, Ranjan Kumar Sahu, Poet Amita Mishra, Surajeet Kumar Raula, Manoj Kumar Padhy were present. Er. Manas Ranjan Tripathy co-operated the programme. Kapil Ch. Mohanty the secretary of the organisation delivered the welcome speech while Vandana Mahapatra gave vote of thanks to all.
