Balangir District Level JRC Camp Ended with Power of Humanity

Balangir : The Balangir District Level Junior Red Cross (JRC ) Study- Cum -Training Camp has just been concluded at Bijayananda High School, Belgaon,Saintala Block of Balangir District. The District Education Officer, Balangir Sj. Dhruba Charan Behera (DEO,Balangir) presided over the Inaugural session. The State Cabinet Minister for Water Resources and Commerce & Tourism Tukuni Sahu attended the camp as the Chief Guest. The Students should join Red Cross and bring fame and name to the family, village and Schools. Any student can establish special relationship with societal development bonded to JRC Movement. The Minister Smt. Sahu urged the students to Grow, Study and Create the conducive environment blended with Red Cross Principles. The other dignitaries who attended the programme were Member Z.P. Smt. Reeta Rani Hati, President Mo School Abhijan Committee of Bbijaya Nanda High school, Sj. Nihar Ranjan Behera, ADEO, Balangir Sj. Keshab Meher, BEO Patnagarh Shankar Majhi, BEO Puintala Sj. Lokanath Suna, BEO Titlagarh Sj. Artatrana Rath, JRC Dist. Secretary Antaryami Biswal respectively. The Headmaster of Chhatamakhna High School Nilamani Patel gave the introductory speech and report of the camp was presented by JRCO Subash Patel. A -Three -Day long programme compromises various learning process viz. Movement of Red Cross, JRC Objectives and Motto, First Aid, Rakshak, Road Safety Project, Blood Donation Movement, Disaster, Child Marriage Prohibition, Child Safety, Fire Fighting etc. There was also organization of Peace March into the village of Belgaon and upcoming counsellors took initiatives generating Public Awareness all about Principles of Red Cross and certain social issues. The panel of Guests gave out prizes to the winning Juniors of Individual and Group competitions organized so far. The counsellor Aravinda kumbhar and Padmaja Nandinee Bohidar expressed their experience on the Camp stay. The Counsellor Shesadev Barik and Padmaja Nandini Bohidar were awarded with the best Counsellors Prize for their contribution to the Junior Red Cross. The Heads and leading Counsellors viz. Observer of the camp, Sj.Digambara Naik, Dillip Joshi, Saroj Kumar Nayak, Resource Person Ram Narayan Dash, Rabindra Thetual, Duryodhan Pasayat, Prabhakar Chhand, Ghana Shyam Meher, Arabinda Kumbhar, Headmistress of SSD Nibedita Hota, Headmaster of Deng High School Sj. Ramgopal Khamari Sharm, Headmaster of Deng High School Sj. Chandala Mishra, Karmeli HM Sj. Saroj Mishra, Manoj Behera, Ghanashyam Dandasena Barun Sahu, Jyotirmayee Mahapatra, Deepak Sen Dharua, Hemanta Bemal extended cooperation to make this camp a grand success. Junior Red Cross Counsellor Hemanta Padhan managed the camp activity. The Headmaster of Bijayananda High school Sj Narayan Mishra passed vote of thanks to the panel of guests and campers altogether.
