UGC NET 2023 June registration begins, exams from June 13

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the much-awaited UGC – NET June 2023 exam. As per official sources, the UGC NET June 2023 exam will be conducted for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 83 subjects.

The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, said UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar.

In a tweet, Kumar said that the submission of online application form has started from May 10. The last date to submit online applications is May 31, 2023 (upto 05:00 P.M).

The UGC NET June Exam 2023 will be held from June 13 to June 22, 2023.

It is pertinent to mention here that the NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges.

Awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET.
