Bureau Head (PKB, AGM) : While creating awareness on the significance of cleanliness and sanitation during its Swachata Supervision Program, the Municipality of Jeypore in Koraput District of Odisha administrated Oath taking of the sanitation workers for bringing changes in the life style of their owns and others associated with them. The Executive Officer Er. Siddhartha Patnaik and the Chairman, Mr Narendra Mahanty of Jeypore municipality on friday morning took the flagship of “Swachata” Awareness Drive from Raju steet, Panchanan Temple upto ringroads and glocal hospital areas. It was learnt that the employees of this municipality including Swacha Sevaks and other sanitation workers steering its determined efforts all around the MCC creating a massive awareness drive following which there was tremendous enthusiasm found among all those involved in the awareness drive. The Swacha Sathi workers took vows for bringing changes in their life style along with inspiring others to be a part of this pious program.
Jeypore is steadily progressing in its mission of complete cleanliness and sanitation. It is well known that the general public are actively making cooperation to Jeypore municipality for creation of eco friendly environment around them. Having been guided by the Chief leader of Swachata Aviyan Program at Jeypore Er. Siddhartha Patnaik, EO, told ” We want Jeypore to be free from different pollution as it slowly kills human beings including animals ” We are determined to accelerate the drive inviting everyone to participate. If environment dies, we are lost and if our surrounding is pushed to be pollution free, there is joys and peace in our existence as Mr. Patnaik strongly asserted.
The program of awareness started with the administration of Oath taking where everyone involved including the executive officer, Chairman and others promised saying ” I vow to undertake that I would leave no stone unturned to bring changes in my life style for the protection of my environment. I shall act as an ambassador of creating awareness among my family members, friends and others about the far reaching benefits of cleanliness and healthy surroundings ”
