New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at a chemical godown at Alipur area in North Delhi on Sunday .No casualties have been reported in the incident so far.
According to the officials of the Delhi Fire Department, they received an alert about the blaze at around 3:10 pm, following which at least 20 fire tenders were rushed to bring the fire under control.
The roof and walls of the godown also collapsed due to the fire, officials added. Meanwhile, the exact cause behind the fire is not known.
Earlier, a massive fire also broke out in a coaching centre in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area on June 15, prompting the students to jump out of windows.
