Puri: The secretary (5T) VK Pandian on Saturday faced ink attack while he was going to attend a meeting at a college in Satyavadi in Puri district.
Puri Collector Samarth Verma, who accompanied the secretary, also faced similar fate during the event.
The incident took place while the officers were going to attend a government programme at UGS college in Satyavadi.
The man who threw ink on the officers has been overpowered by the security forces. He has identified as Bhaskar Sahoo, a resident of Kanas in the district. Police have arrested him.
The reason of the ink attack has not immediately been established. Police started questioning the accused.
