Bhubaneswar: Due to Low Pressure Area over western parts of Gangetic West Bengal & neighbourhood with the associated cyclonic circulation, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha during next 24 hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.
In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “The Low Pressure Area over western parts of Gangetic West Bengal & neighbourhood with the associated cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea levels persists. The trough from Sikkim to north coastal Andhra Pradesh across the Low Pressure area over western parts of Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha extending upto 3.1 km above mean sea level has become less marked.”
The highest maximum temperature of 35.0oC was recorded at Paralakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 20.5oC was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balasore, Bhadrak and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
