Bhubaneswar: In the midst of the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas, Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha finds herself stranded in Israel, according to a statement from a member of her team released on Saturday.
The team member revealed, “Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival.”
“I was last able to establish contact with her around 12:30 pm earlier today, and she was in a secure basement at that time. Due to safety concerns, we cannot divulge further details. Unfortunately, since then, we have been unable to reach her. We are diligently working on ensuring Nushrratt’s safe return to India, and we hope for her well-being and safety,” he added.
Earlier on Saturday, a conflict erupted between the militant group Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Israel, resulting in a tragic toll of at least 200 fatalities and over 1,000 injuries.
