Bhubaneswar: Ace para shuttler from Odisha, Pramod Bhagat brought laurels to the state as well as country by clinching gold medal at the Para Asian Games in China in the Men’s SL3 category, today.
Bhagat defeated compatriot Nitesh Kumar 22-20, 18-21, 21-19 to secure the top spot.
Earlier on Thursday, Pramod Bhagat and Sukant Kadam had won bronze medals in men’s doubles SL3-SL4 category.
