Diesel leakage from IOCL’s pipeline triggers panic in Odisha’s Kendrapara – N.F Times

Kendrapara: Leakage of diesel form Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s pipeline at Bheda under Aul police limits in Odisha’s Kendrapara district has triggered panic among the residents of the area.

On being informed about the leakage, which reportedly started last night, concerned employees of the IOCL rushed to the spot and initiated efforts to cease the outflow of the fuel.

It was yet to be ascertained whether the pipeline burst, or it was an act of miscreants to steal diesel.

A technical team of the IOCL was engaged to collect the diesel flowing out of the pipeline. Efforts were on to repair the damaged portion of the pipeline, an official of the IOCL said.
