Bhadrak: A pregnant woman was found dead on roadside near Kabisahi under Bhandaripokhari block of Odisha’s Bhadrak district, today.
The deceased was identified as Tapaswini Das. She had married one Sipun Das, a year ago.
Shockingly, locals found her body lying on roadside, this morning.
Though the reason of the death was yet to be ascertained, her family members alleged that her in-laws murdered her and dumped the body on roadside. They further alleged that her husband and in-laws were torturing her.
On being informed, the Bhandaripokhari police reached the spot, recovered the body for post-mortem and initiated investigation into the incident.
