Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall from November 15 due to probability of formation of a low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal around the very day.
“A low pressure area is likely to form over southeast and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal around 15th November,” the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted.
The Regional Meteorological Centre here has made rainfall prediction for Odisha in connection with the forecasted system.
November 15: Light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and dry weather very likely to prevail over the districts of Interior Odisha.
November 16: Light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kalahandi & dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
