Cuttack: Days after a Class 10 student went missing, his body was found near the banks of river Kathajodi in Odisha’s Cuttack district here today. The 16-year old boy’s body was found near the bridge.
As per reports, the minor boy had gone missing four days back. Family members had launched a frantic search and after failing to track his whereabouts, filed a complaint with Madhupatana police.
Acting on the complaint, police started a search operation and the boy’s body was found near the river bank today.
On getting information, family members reached the spot and confirmed the identity of the deceased.
Official sources said the exact cause of death will be ascertained after postmortem. Investigation is underway.
