Nuapada/Bolangir: Two women and a man were killed today and one more sustained grievous injuries in separate incidents of road mishap in Nuapada and Bolangir districts.
In the first incident, two persons died as a Hyva truck hit the motorcycle on which they were travelling near Mendhatala village under Lakhan police limits in Nuapada. The two deceased are a woman and her paternal uncle (father’s elder brother), a police source said.
In the second incident, a woman was killed and her husband became critical after they met with an accident near a college in Chandanbhati under Sadar police limits of Bolangir. The couple was on their way back from a church when their scooter was hit by a Hyva truck.
