Sundargarh: In view of widespread unseasonal rain, Sundargarh Collector declared a holiday for all schools and anganwadi centres in the district today.
The school authorities in this regard have been intimated, informed District Education Officer Amulya Kumar Pradhan today.
According to reports, the unseasonal rain continued to lash several parts of the Sundargarh district since Monday.
The district recorded 51.2 mm of rainfall on Tuesday. The quantity of rainfall was 57.80 mm by Wednesday evening.
