Forest Ranger critical as elephant crushes him in Odisha’s Kalahandi – N.F Times



Bhawanipatna: A Forest Ranger sustained critical injuries as an elephant crushed the official near Ratanpur village in Odisha’s Kalahandi district, today.

The victim, identified as Narla Ranger Prashant Pal, was admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.

According to reports, a herd of elephants was creating havoc near the village. On being informed about the incident, Pal went to the place in the morning to drive away the pachyderms.

However, one of the elephants trampled him, leaving the official grievously injured.

His condition was stated to be critical during treatment at the hospital.
