Boudh: An exchange of fire ensued between Maoists and security forces at Nalikumbha forest under Manamunda police limits in Odisha’s Boudh district, today.
According to reports, the Maoists opened fire at the SOG and DVF jawans while the security forces were carrying out combing operation in the area.
The jawans fired back at the extremists in retaliation, leading to the gunbattle.
Till last reports came in, the exchange of fire was underway while no casualty has so far been reported in the incident.
