Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the 2024 elections, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is all set to start his visit to the districts from today.
The BJD supremo is slated to visit various western Odisha districts in the coming days. He will cover all the districts of Odisha before the polls, a report said quoting party sources. In 2019, he had held election campaigning in various parts of the state in a special bus.
Patnaik will visit the Mahima Gadi in Dhenkanal district today to lay the foundation stone for the Upasana Pitha, Mahima Gadi Sunya Mandap and development of the temple.
The government has sanctioned Rs 112 crore for the renovation of the temple.
The project includes reconstruction of Samadhi temple, restoration of pond, repairing of bus stand, reconstruction of Kaupin Dhari Mahima Samaj Pitha and construction of a primary health centre.
