Dense fog likely in 21 Odisha districts on Dec 25; Yellow warning issued – N.F Times


Bhubaneswar: The IMD has predicted dense fog in as many as 21 districts of Odisha on December 25.

Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Balangir, Boudh, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Khurda and Puri on December 25 (Monday), said the IMD in its weather bulletin today.

The IMD has issued a yellow warning in this regard.

There will not be any large change in minimum or night temperatures across Odisha during the next four/five days, added the IMD.

As per the IMD, at least eight places in Odisha recorded minimum temperatures below 10 Degree Celsius yesterday.

Koraput recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 6.6 Degree C, followed by Daringbadi 7 Degree C, G. Udayagiri 7.4 Degree C, Keonjhar 8.8 Degree C, Sundargarh 9 Degree C, Kirei 9.4 Degree C, Phulbani 9.5 Degree C and Semiliguda 9.6 Degree C yesterday, added the IMD.
