Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officers today raided multiple places in connection with allegation against Saroj Kanta Mohanty, OAS (SAG), Chief General Manager (P&A), IDCO regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Simultaneous house searches were being conducted by the anti-corruption agency on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The raids were being carried out at the following seven places in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Jajpur.
1. A 3 BHK at Sailashree Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
2. A 3 BHK at Patapur, Baranga, Cuttack.
3. Paternal house in Jajpur district.
4. A three-storeyed building at Mahanadi Vihar, Naya bazar, Cuttack.
5. A two-storeyed residential house in Jajpur district.
6. House of his relative at IRC Village, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar.
7. His office room located in IDCO Tower.
Till last reports came in, the raids were underway while the total value of his movable and immovable properties was yet to be calculated.
