Bhitarkanika National Park to remain closed for visitors from Jan 5 to 13 – N.F Times



Kendrapara: Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha’s Kendrapara district will remain closed for visitors from January 5 to 13 in view of counting of saltwater crocodiles and birds.

The census will be conducted in five ranges and carried out by teams comprising of Forest Department staffers and experts, an official said.

Members of the teams will be given training on January 9 while the census will be carried out on January 10, 11 and 12, informed Rajnagar DFO Sudarshan Gopinath Yadav.
