Union Minister lays foundation stone for 4G mobile tower in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj – N.F Times



Betanoti: Union Railways, Communications, and Electronics & IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today laid the foundation stone for the installation of a 4G mobile tower at Manatapal village under Betanoti block in Mayurbhanj district, as part of 4G Saturation Project using indigenous 4G Technology.

The project was taken up under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives of the Government of India.

About 94 mobile towers will be installed in the Mayurbhanj district which will benefit the residents for digital connectivity. Better data communication facilities will provide many opportunities including employment generation, access to online services, digital inclusion, and empowerment of common people.

It may be noted that the first time any minister visited Manatapal, a remotely located village.

Local villagers expressed their happiness over this act of the Union Minister. These Santhal and Odia villagers thanked the PM and the Minister for coming forward for their welfare.

Notably, the installation of new towers was announced by the Union Minister for Patisari and Kanhupura villages under Badasahi block in the district.
