Bhubaneswar: A migrant labourer from Odisha’s Nabarangpur died after he fell off an under-construction building in Hyderabad two days ago.

The deceased has been identified as Uddhav Majhi (26) of Banuaguda village under Dabugaon block in Nabarangpur. Majhi’s body was brought to his native place from the Telangana capital today.

Majhi along with two others from his locality had gone to Hyderabad to work as labourers in the construction sector around two months ago.

He accidentally fell off the three-storey building at around 9 pm on January 15. Majhi died on the spot, sources said.

The police in Hyderabad had sent Majhi’s body for postmortem after registering a case in this regard.

“Majhi’s body was handed over to his family after the autopsy yesterday. The body was brought to Banuaguda in an ambulance from Hyderabad today,” said a local.
