Berhampur: In a tragic incident, two women workers were crushed to death under a threshing machine near Amundi village in Nuagaon area of Odisha’s Ganjam district, today.
As per reports, the deceased duo was returning on a tractor, to which the threshing machine was attached.
The machine later overturned and fell on the two women, leaving them critically injured.
Locals rescued the victims and rushed them to Patrapur Hospital, where doctor declared one of them dead.
Another victim was shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here. However, she succumbed to her injuries at the healthcare facility.
