Phulbani: As many as three persons, including Ollywood actor Abhishek Giri, sustained injuries as a car in which they were travelling met with an accident at Srikala Ghat near G. Udayagiri in Odisha’s Kandhamal district, today.
According to reports, the three were returning in the car after shoot of Odia movie ‘Adryusya’ while Giri was driving the vehicle. Actress Sayan Mukherjee and another person namely Sunil Patnaik were present in the car.
He lost control over the vehicle, suspectedly due to poor visibility owing to dense fog, following which the car dashed against the guard wall and got dragged for around 100 meters before turning turtle.
Locals rescued the injured trio and rushed the victims to G. Udayagiri Hospital for treatment.
Police have started investigation into the matter.
