Bhubaneswar: Cold wave condition is likely to occur in at least five districts of Odisha on January 27 (Saturday), predicted the IMD today.
Cold wave condition is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh and Angul on January 27 (tomorrow), said the IMD regional centre here in its weather bulletin today.
As per the IMD prediction, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over districts of Cuttack, Boudh, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Khurda, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Rayagada and Koraput on January 27. The MeT department has issued a Yellow warning in this regard.
This apart, shallow to moderate fog may occur at a few places over the districts of South Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of North Costal Odisha, Angul and Dhenkanal tomorrow, said the IMD.
However, there will not be any large change in minimum or night temperature over the districts of Odisha during the next three days. But, the minimum temperature is very likely to rise by 2/3 degree Celsius gradually across the state after a few days, predicted the IMD.
