Bhubaneswar: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge today visited Odisha to attend a party programme in Bhubaneswar. This is his first visit to the state after taking charge as the head of AICC (All India Congress Committee).
The Congress chief arrived at Bhubaneswar airport in the afternoon. Accompanied by a huge number of Congress workers and supporters, he headed for Congress Bhawan at Master Canteen.
After a few minutes halt at Congress Bhawan, he will address the party workers at a mega rally at Lower PMG area in Bhubaneswar. In the evening, he is scheduled to hold a meeting with senior Congress leaders at the party office to discuss the party’s strategy for the forthcoming elections.
