Bhubaneswar: An apparent anti-incumbency wave is there in Odisha and BJP will form government on its own after the 2024 General Elections, said the Opposition party chief whip Mohan Charan Majhi today.
Saffron camp has been preparing a roadmap for this and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a bugle call for upcoming General Elections during his visit to the State on February 3, Majhi stated.
The PM will lay the foundation stone of some projects and inaugurate a few others worth a total of Rs 25 Thousand Crore. The PM is to visit Odisha again on February 10 and will address a huge gathering of women in a Mahila Samavesh (public meeting) to be held in Bhubaneswar. They will come from 20 different states across the country. He will later proceed to Puri Jagannath temple for a Darshan.
The PM will also visit Chandikhol to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate a slew of projects there.
After completion of the ongoing ‘Booth Jan Sampark Abhiyan’, BJP will launch ‘Gaonku Chala Abhiyan’ from February 9 to February 11. The party will form a ‘double-engine government’ in Odisha. Party workers and leaders have vowed a massive change and landslide victory in the State, Majhi expressed.
Worth mentioning, Modi is scheduled to visit the State on a one-day official visit on February 3. The PM is to inaugurate a new campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Sambalpur district.
