Bus driver saves 70 passengers before death in heart attack in Odisha’s Balasore – N.F Times



Balasore: Around 70 passengers of a tourist bus had a narrow escape as the driver of the vehicle managed to stop it before suffering a heart attack and subsequently dying. The incident took place near Patapur Chhak under Nilagiri police limits in Odisha’s Balasore district, today.

According to reports, the bus carrying tourists from West Bengal was heading towards Panchalingeswar Temple in the district, during which the driver suffered a heart attack.

As soon as he experienced pain in his chest, he stopped the bus on roadside, averting a certain road mishap and saving the lives of the passengers.

The driver, who fell unconscious, was rescued and rushed to the Nilagiri Sub-divisional Hospital, where he was declared dead by a doctor. The deceased was identified as Sheikh Akhtar of Howrah area.
