Attempt to finish middle class: Odisha Cong on Union budget – N.F Times



Bhubaneswar: Middle class families have been targeted and will be finished because of this annual budget, Opposition Congress party in the State said reacting to Union Interim Budget 2024-25 which was placed today under the proposed financial plans of ‘Viksit Bharat’.

Poor people will become poorer and the industrialists will grow further in the days ahead. Budgetary provisions have been cut short in the education, health, and agriculture sectors. Four downtrodden castes in the interest of whom the budget is being claimed to have been prepared is wrong. The four castes have been cheated rather, senior Congress leader Panchanan Kanungo stated.

On the contrary, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that Odisha will get a lion’s share of fund allocation. The Budget 2024 is a reflection of the Central government’s all-round, all-embracive, and all-inclusive development programmes.

This Budget will be a giant launching pad for creating a developed India. Welfare and wealth creation will go hand-in-hand in a balanced manner, which has been echoed in the budget. The budget was placed by giving priority to the welfare of youth, women, farmers, and poor as well as downtrodden people, the Union Minister expressed.
