Leopard found dead in Odisha’s Angul; poaching suspected – N.F Times



Angul: Carcass of a leopard was found in a forest near Mindol village under Athmallik forest division of Odisha’s Angul district, today.

Though the reason behind the death of the animal was yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that the leopard was killed by poachers.

The carcass was initially spotted by locals, who informed the Forest Department staff.

The leopard’s body has been decomposed, for which it is being suspected that the animal died several days ago.
