5th edition of Odisha Travel Bazar at Konark Eco Retreat from Feb 7 to 9 – N.F Times



Bhubaneswar: The 5th edition of Odisha Travel Bazar will be jointly hosted by the Odisha Tourism Department and the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) from February 7 to 9 at Eco Retreat, Konark.

The primary objective of this event is to promote the tourism sector in Odisha by fostering networks and collaborations across India and internationally.

Addressing a presser, Surendra Kumar, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Tourism Department, highlighted that the Odisha Travel Bazaar will serve as a platform for showcasing the state’s tourist destinations to both domestic buyers from India and international markets.

The event will see participation from 70 domestic tour operators representing 27 cities across 18 states and 55 tour operators from 16 countries. This diverse participation aims to position Odisha as a global tourism hub with world-class standards.

Dr. Lenin Mohanty, Chairman of OTDC, emphasized the concerted efforts of the Tourism Department under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in boosting the state’s tourism potential.

Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav, Director of the Tourism Department, highlighted that the event will feature meetings between tourism stakeholders in Odisha and domestic as well as foreign tour operators. Additionally, familiarization trips to various tourism destinations within the state will be organized.
