Jatra actor Daitari Panda visits Jagannath temple in Odisha’s Puri, apologises for his mistakes – N.F Times



Bhubaneswar: The bad man of Odia Jatra (theatre) world Daitari Panda today visited Jagannath temple in Puri and apologised for his adverse remarks previously made on the Lord. Panda had triggered a controversy as he earlier compared Odisha Chief Minister with the Lord in one of his statements.

A source said that Panda went to Singhadwar police station in the morning and then visited the 12th Century shrine to apologise for his controversial remarks. The actor villain had to apologise after his derogatory statements invited strong resentment from people from all sections of society.

“I had given such a statement out of emotions and had no other intention,” actor Panda expressed.

Panda was recently being severely trolled by female Jatra actor Rani Panda. Reacting to the comments made by her on social media against him, the actor villain said, “May Lord Jagannath bless the girl.”
