Nabarangpur: A youth and a girl were found hanging inside a pump house at Bujra village under Umerkote police limits in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district, today.
The deceased were identified as Sanadhara Bhatra and Priyanka Gond.
Though the reason behind the deaths is yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that the two were in a relationship and took the extreme step of hanging themselves fearing that their kin won’t agree for their marriage.
Police have recovered the bodies for post-mortem and initiated an investigation into the incident.
