Baripada: Baripada BJP legislator Prakash Kumar Soren complained of chest pain at around 4.00 PM today and was admitted to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital (PRMMCH) in Baripada of Mayurbhanj district. Later, he was shifted to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar for further medical treatment.
According to a source, Soren was feeling unwell for the last four days and was undergoing treatment at home. He complained of chest pain in the afternoon and was rushed to the health facility. As he did not show any sign of improvement, he was brought to AIIMS on the advice of the doctors treating him at PRMMCH.
Soren is not able to talk at the moment and his condition is critical, an associate of the MLA said.
Well-wishers of the BJP leader wished him an early recovery after news of his hospitalisation spread.
