Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle in the IPS cadre by transferring four officers in the state.
Deepak Kumar, a 2004-batch IPS officer, working as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), North-Central Range (NCR) with additional charge of principal, police training college at Angul, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Eastern Range at Balasore.
Eastern Range IGP Satyabrata Bhoi, a 2004-batch IPS officer, has been transferred and posted as the IGP, North-Central Range with additional charge of principal PTC, Angul, said a notification issued by the Home department today.
Kendrapara Superintendent of Police (SP) Banoth Jugal Kishore Kumar, a 2011-batch IPS officer, has been transferred and posted as Khurda SP.
Khurda SP Siddharth Kataria, a 2017-batch IPS officer, has been transferred and posted as Kendrapara SP, added the notification.
