Kendrapara: A crocodile dragged a man into Brahmani river in front of his brother near Dakhinabheda village under Rajanagar block of Odisha’s Kendrapara district, today.
As per reports, Nirmal Malik and his younger brother Nimai had gone to the river at around 9.30 am to fetch water for irrigating their farmland.
In the meantime, a crocodile dragged Nimai into the waterbody. Though his elder brother tried to rescue him, but in vain.
On being informed, Fire Services personnel reached the spot and initiated efforts to trace and rescue the victim.
