The government will spend Rs 6,164.80 crore from 2023-24 fiscal to 2028-29 fiscal for developing 318 bus stands across the state under the scheme. The amount also includes allocations for operational and maintenance expenditures of the project.

The state Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved a proposal in this regard.

The state government has proposed to develop 318 bus stands in all 30 districts of Odisha under the Ama Bus Stand scheme in three phases.
