Jharsuguda: Department of CSR, JSW BPSL marked a significant milestone with the laying of the foundation stone for the installation of streetlights from Prasanna Panda Chowk to Biju Pattanaik Chowk in Jharsuguda.
This initiative is part of JSW Foundation’s commitment to enhancing community infrastructure and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
The project, with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.08 crore, aims to illuminate the streets and improve visibility, thereby enhancing safety and security for pedestrians and commuters in the area.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Chief Guest Dipali Das, Jharsuguda MLA, and Guest of Honour Brajabandhu Bhoi, ADM, Jharsuguda and S.N. Singh, Vice President – Projects & Public Relations. Additionally, Rani Hati, Chairperson of Jharsuguda Municipality, honoured the occasion with her presence.
Key representatives from JSW BPSL including Manoj Singh, Vice President – Security & Vigilance, Vishal Raj, Head – CSR & team were present on the occasion.
