Odisha: Former Chitrakonda MLA Dambaru Sisa quits BJD – N.F Times



Mathili: Dambaru Sisa, a Bonda tribal youth leader and former legislator from Chitrakonda of Malkangiri district resigned from primary membership of Biju Janata Dal (BJD), today. Youth leader Dambaru was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly in 2014 on a BJD ticket.

The former MLA sent his resignation to the party supremo Naveen Patnaik.

Dambaru was allegedly neglected in the 2019 General Elections and was not given the ticket to contest. He would make a fresh beginning soon, the tribal leader mentioned in his letter. He was an aspirant for a ticket from BJD for the 2024 General Elections.
