Bhubaneswar: The schools across Odisha have been asked to hold morning classes from April 2 due to the prevailing heatwave-like condition in the state.

The state government has asked all primary, secondary and higher secondary schools to hold morning classes from April 2, said the School and Mass Education department in a letter to the concerned authorities today.

The classes for students from Class I to Class XII in all government, government aided and privately managed schools will be held from 7 am to 11.30 am from April 2, said the department.
