Sundargarh: A prisoner reportedly fled from the Sundargarh district headquarters hospital, where he was undergoing treatment.
The incident occurred during late hours on Sunday night.
According to reports, Arjun Munda, the prisoner, was serving his jail term at Sundargarh District Jail in a murder case. He was admitted to the Bhawani Shankar Hospital in Sundargarh following surgery.
He reportedly gave a slip to the jail officials at the hospital and managed to flee.
The district jail authorities lodged a complaint at the Sundargarh Town Police Station in this regard following which the investigation started by the police to nab the accused.
