Boudh: In a tragic incident, a ‘LAccMI’ bus of the Odisha government hit a motorcycle, killing a man and injuring another critically near Lambasari Chhak under Kantamal police limits in Odisha’s Boudh district, this morning.
As per reports, Prashant Mahanandia and Valmiki Mahanandia of Bichika village under Kantamal block were travelling on the ill-fated motorcycle, during which the bus was turning backwards. The bus hit the two-wheeler, leaving Prashant and Valmiki grievously injured.
They were rescued by locals and rushed to Kantamal Hospital, where doctors declared Valmiki dead.
On the other hand, Prashant was shifted to the Sonepur District Headquarters Hospital for better treatment.
